You can book a half-day, full-day or multi-day mediation.
Half-day mediations are from 10.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. or 2.00 p.m. -5.00 p.m.
Full day mediations are from 10.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m
Afsana offers competitive rates for her mediation services. Fees will vary depending on the practice area. Afsana takes into consideration the complexity and the time it will take to mediate the case. Please contact Afsana for more information about her rates.
Fees include three hours of preparation time for a two-party mediation (one and a half hours per party) and pre-mediation calls where necessary. Facility rental charges, HST, and travel outside Toronto are not included.
Meeting facilities must be provided with at least two (depending on the number of parties) breakout rooms and a flip chart. Fees include 1 hour and 30 minutes of preparation time for each party. If further preparation time is required, additional fees may apply.
All mediation briefs must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the mediation date.
Following your booking, Afsana will send you the Terms of Engagement, which must be signed by all the parties and submitted to Afsana on the day of the mediation. If the Terms of Engagement require change before or during the mediation, please reach out to Afsana. In the event that a half-day mediation continues to a full day, you will be required to sign a new Terms of Engagement.
All payments must be made 15 days following the mediation. Late payments will incur a charge of an extra 10% of the final invoice.
All cancellations must be notified by contacting Afsana 15 days before the mediation date. After this time period, 50% of the original invoice will become payable.
